Seminar in Early Childhood Special Education

Catalog description

A weekly seminar for candidates to reflect with others about their supervised teaching experiences and to discuss relevant issues for early childhood special educators. Topics of practice-based discussion and/or assignments include early intervention, individualized learning plans, developmental milestones and routines, planning coherent and integrated curriculum and linguistically responsive, differentiated, learner-centered teaching, using assessment to inform teaching and support children's learning; and fostering respectful, caring, and effective family-school relations.
