Field Work in Social Service or Tutorial Research

Catalog description

Involves, according to student's choice, either: (1) placement in special agency (welfare, poverty, urban planning, police, detention) where a student learns by working directly with clients under close supervision of the agency; or (2) carrying out a research project in the student's area of interest. In either case, the student meets regularly with a faculty member of the Social Research Laboratory.
