Principles of Life Science

Catalog description

Explores core topics in the biological sciences with an emphasis on depth ofunderstanding of the subject matter and an awareness of the skills andmethods used in the life sciences. Subject matter is drawn from cell and molecularbiology, evolution, and ecology. Class format is a combination ofinteractive discussions, hands on activities, and participation in extendedscientific processes. This course is one of three similar courses along withPrinciples of Physical Science and Principles of Environmental Science whichcould be taken in any order.
