Trauma and Resilience

his graduate level course offers the student a comprehensive exploration of the psychological trauma field, including its history, current theories, the nature of trauma (e.g., sexual violence, armed conflict, and natural disasters), how trauma affects individual and systems, grief reactions and traumatic stress. Students will develop a foundation for assessing and treating post trauma reactions in children, adolescents and adults.
