This course covers the key skills necessary for being successful in organizations today. Through exercises, cases, and group activities, the course provides an experiential approach to the intersection of psychology and work. It addresses some important broad categories of skills including intrapersonal and interpersonal effectiveness. There are many specific topics included that are necessary to understand thoroughly in order to succeed in the workplace such as self-awareness, trust, values, ethics, self-management, persuasion, networking, mentoring, empowerment, negotiation, and project management.
