CURE For The Summer

Catalog description

This course provides undergraduate students with a hands-on summer research experience, culminating in the design and data collection of a viable research project. Students will learn how to prepare a literature review, develop a research hypothesis, create a human subjects protocol (IRB), and design a research study. The course also offers an individual development plan, promotes educational, research and career self-efficacy, train students in techniques of data collection, troubleshooting and data analysis, and provides opportunities to create and present conference-style posters.
