Catalog description

This course explores the emotional, cultural, and social dimensions of migration and human movement. Whether it is forced or by choice, we will review experiences of migration and adaptation, and examine how individuals rebuild identity, belonging, and purpose when they leave one home to create another. Through stories, reflection, movies and research, students will review themes of language, cultural identity, nostalgia, resilience, and the challenges of integration.
