Catalog description

This course focuses on therapeutic/counseling models used to treat dysfunctional family dynamics where the primary clinical presentation is associated with substance abuse. Various treatment models will be considered and relapse prevention will be emphasized. Child abuse and mistreatment in the codependent family will also be discussed.
