Catalog description

With historical background reaching back to the origins of the Russian state and then moving through the Soviet era, this course focuses on contemporary Russia foreign policy. It will cover issues (arms control, the Russian military, the domestic context of Russian foreign policy) as well as geographical areas (Russia’s policy toward Europe, the United States, China, and the Middle East).
