Ethics in Business

Catalog description

This course is an examination of ethical issues that arise in business, for employers, employees, and the societies and environments that surround them. Students will learn central ethical theories and apply them to the production, distribution, marketing and sale of goods and services. The class focuses on ethical decision-making from both personal and policy-level perspectives. Readings will be drawn from philosophical writings, business articles, and real-life cases.
