Catalog description

What makes an action right or wrong? In this course students will learn and apply central ethical theories to analyze contemporary moral problems affecting individuals and societies. Students may examine questions about the ethics of the death penalty, racial profiling, abortion, climate change, genetically modified food, physician assisted suicide, and torture.
