Catalog description

The care and management of critically ill patients or those with multi-system disease is explored in this four-week clerkship. Special emphasis is given to monitoring techniques in life-threatening disease. The contextual approach to these disciplines will include integrating basic sciences, anatomy and physiology, embryology, ancillary diagnostics and medical terminology.
