Catalog description

Creativity, Community, and Change is a seminar for students in their first year at City College. The College has a distinguished history of student activism, from fighting fascism in Europe to demanding more inclusive approaches to knowledge. This course aims to empower a new generation of CCNY students as changemakers. Focused on a different problem each semester, the course consists of small discussion sections that pursue inquiry in specific disciplines. A weekly plenary meeting of all discussion sections provides a broader perspective and allows for interdisciplinary problem-solving.The topic for Fall 2020 is: Voice and Vote: Developing an Inclusive Society
