Podcasting and Audio Journalism

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the principles of audio journalism: reporting, interviewing, editing, and writing for the ear. Over the semester, students will work towards a final story that showcases an understanding of audio as a medium for storytelling about news, community issues, culture or entertainment The goal is for this story to be suitable for broadcast, as a podcast, or as a report for another other platform. Podcasting and Audio Journalism is part of the NBCU Fellows Academy curriculum.
