Research and Writing for Media Studies

Catalog description

This course aims to teach students research, analytical and communication skills. Through discussion and practice, students learn their way around libraries, become familiar with various databases, learn interviewing techniques and sharpen their writing. The skills are then used to compose a research paper on a media topic chosen in consultation with the instructor.
