CUNY City College · UGRD · Fall 2026
1 section
Catalog description
Migration has been a persistent subject of political debate and academic discussion in the post-war era. However, the meaning of the term, the field of study, and the political interventions it calls for have shifted over time. This course offers an overview of select issues in and approaches to the politics of borders and migration, including but not limited to "integration of immigrants," "development and migration," "transnational migration," and "border security."
