Capstone in Social Justice and Urban Life

Catalog description

This capstone course in the Social Justice and Urban Life major must be taken in the student's final spring semester. Students will undertake a research project in the subject area of social justice and urban life, and the specific topic will be chosen in consultation between the student and instructor. The course will be primarily focused on research and writing, and the readings will be tailored to the writing and research process. Each week students will be expected to advance their research projects by submitting new writing or research. Some weeks may be workshop-based while others may be in-class presentations or one-on-one consultations with library faculty or teaching faculty.
