The course is designed to teach undergraduate English and Education majors and minors how to teach poetry for the Poetry Outreach Center through experiential learning.The center is housed at City College and is non-for profit that sends trained poetry teachers to go out into public elementary, middle, and high schools so that they can get the kind of art's literacy education imperative for an enriched education.
