This lab-based course offers an in-depth exploration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques in the field of cybersecurity. The course covers essential concepts, methodologies, and tools to enhance cybersecurity capabilities across various domains, including network security, threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and incident response. Students will gain hands-on experience with AI-driven approaches to identify, predict, and mitigate cyber threats, leveraging real-world data and simulated environments. Through ten structured experiments, students will apply AI models to practical cybersecurity challenges, such as anomaly detection, automated threat intelligence, adversarial defense, and predictive analytics. By the end of the course lab, students will have developed a foundational skill set for integrating AI solutions into cybersecurity workflows and learned strategies for addressing emerging challenges in the security landscape.
