Catalog description

This course introduces the design, development, and characterization of RF and microwave components using printed circuit technology. Topics include transmission lines, waveguides, impedance matching, resonators, couplers, filters, and antennas. Students gain experience with full-wave EM simulation, RF design projects, and laboratory measurements using a vector network analyzer. Team projects involve designing, fabricating, and testing advanced microwave components and antennas, with results presented at the end of the course
