Assessment for Multilingual Learners

Catalog description

This course explores issues of assessment with multilingual learners in US schools. It equips teacher candidates with the skills needed to develop and implement effective assessment instruments, assess student learning, and analyze student work to inform future instruction. The course also provides a critical understanding of the larger policy context. Includes 10 hours of fieldwork.
