Emphasis on growth and development of the mathematical thinking of children in grades Pre-K - 3 through their action and exploration in a supportive classroom environment. Includes discussion of teaching strategies, planning learning experiences, and a strong component on the use of technology for modeling effective instruction and studying children's learning. Includes 10-15 hours of fieldwork. Prereq: Math 18000 and 18500 or equivalent.
