Integrated unit planning centered on a study of the community, cultural diversity and historical sequence; focuses on inquiry learning strategies and multicultural approaches to instruction. Includes introduction to Internet resources and software for classroom instruction in geography. Includes 10-15 hours of fieldwork at either the 1-3 or 4-6 grade levels.
