Catalog description

Game theory is the study of how people make strategic decisions in situations where their payoff or well being depends not just on their own choices, but also on the choices made by others they are interacting with. In this course, students will learn how to describe an economic situation as a game and to make outcome predictions using Nash Equilibrium and other equilibrium concepts. The course will use game theoretic modelling to examine advanced applications in business and political economy.
