Catalog description

This course is being offered exclusively to the Santander Finance Fellows, and introduces students to the different business areas of Santander Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), such as business planning and administration, operations, investments, ESG, among others. Learning objectives for the course: What exactly is CIB? What does each business area do? What is the day-to-day like for an individual working in these areas? How much data analysis/forecasting/valuation/communications is part of the day-to-day? What functions/platforms are used regularly (e.g., SPSS, Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.)? What skills should they hone now to prepare for careers in these areas?
