Catalog description

This seminar-based course explores the multifaceted dimensions of economic inequality. Through discussions on systems of wealth and poverty, political economics, education, healthcare, and the impact of regressive public policies, students will analyze the structural factors contributing to inequality. Emphasis will be placed on tax policy, showcasing how fiscal policies can be regressive and influence both sides of the public policy balance sheet.
