Catalog description
The structure and operation of a computer, concepts and properties of an algorithm and a programming language, e.g., Fortran. Numerical methods most used by scientists and engineers, such as interpolation, roots of equations by the secant and Newton methods, integration by rectangular and trapezoidal rule, linear regression by least squares, solution of linear systems or equations by Gaussian elimination, problems of roundoff.
