Chemistry, structure, and function of ribonucleic acids (RNA), and the increasingly important role this ancient biopolymer is recognized to play in Biochemistry and other life sciences including medicine. Theoretical and methodological concepts will be explored in the lectures and in class discussions of classic and contemporary RNA research papers.
