Traffic flow theory, including fundamental diagram, microscopic models, and macroscopic models. Analysis of traffic data, including capacity and performance assessment. Network models and simulation. Advanced technology applications for data collection, traffic control, and real-time system management. Graduate standing is required. Students who have completed CE 52000 are not permitted to register for this course.
