Principles of water reclamation and reuse. Water stress from climate change and human development. Health and environmental concerns of water reuse and water reclamation, water reuse regulations and guidelines, water reclamation applications, water reuse and reclamation technologies and treatment systems, onsite and decentralized systems for water reuse, distribution and storage of reclaimed water, groundwater recharge with reclaimed water, direct and indirect potable reuse, public participation and implementation issues. Reclaiming CSO and stormwater runoff. This is a cross-listed course. Students who have completed CE 57900 Water Reuse and Recycling may not take CE H7900. Students who have completed CE H7900 Water Reuse and Recycling may not take CE 57900.
