Basic principles of biomedical electronics and measurements including sensors, transducers, amplifiers, filters, data acquisition and analysis, signal-to-noise ratio, artifacts; display of biological data using digital computers; design and analysis of biomedical instrumentation; laboratory applications of digital signal processing and real-time analysis of physiological signals. Prereq.: BME 20500. 3 lecture, 1 lab hr./wk.; 4 cr.
