Catalog description

the course will explore the interactions among genes on the Y chromosome with genes on other chromosomes as determinants of biological sex. Sociologically, the course will investigate the social construction of gender and how gendered identities shape everyday life, including at the intersection of sex and gender (e.g., intersex and trans expressions of sex and gender).
