Catalog description

The course will cover classic and contemporary eco-evolutionary theory that accommodates biogeography, macroecology, and evolution across scales of space and time. The course will have two components: a seminar component covering the classic and current literature and a "hands-on" component that involves using computer simulation-based inference and high throughput DNA meta-barcoding datasets to test hypotheses about how biodiversity is generated and maintained.
