Catalog description

Bioinformatics is used to understand patterns in DNA and RNA sequences that enhance scientific understanding of human health, organisms, and the world. Students will learn computer code to assemble genomic data, measure activity of genes in different organs, and trace evolutionary patterns across genes from different species.
