Mixed Studio Techniques: Experiments in multiple materials

Catalog description

This graduate-level class will provide a series of technical demonstrations to ground students in deeper knowledge of common studio materials such as clay, paint, ink, and printing. The class will be responsive/adaptive to the technical needs of students while encouraging conceptual approaches to art-making. Open to all graduate students; highly encouraged for artists, artist-educators, and art historians looking for materials experimentation.
