Advanced Illustration Workshop

Catalog description

This course readies students for greater independence and cultivates their critical thinking skills and in-depth research within their own practice. By engaging in critical readings, participating in both individual and group discussions students gain a deeper insight into the field of illustration and the roles of illustrators. The course assignments involve producing a comprehensive series of illustrations centered on contemporary cultural themes, along with a self-directed project.
