Catalog description

This seminar offers an introduction to the theory and practice of architecture from the 1960s to the present. In tracing the transformation of architectural discourse during the past five decades, we will explore the dialectic between theory and practice both by studying a series of seminal late-modern and contemporary theoretical texts and by analyzing a number of paradigmatic projects that informed, challenged, and reshaped the architectural debate.
