Peoples of East Asia

Catalog description

This course examines the cultural formation of East Asia and the diversity of contemporary East Asian societies. Both the historical and contemporary experiences of life in East Asian will be explored. Among the topics to be discussed will be gender, kinship, rural and urban life, race, color and class, and international migration.
