NYC Cultures

Catalog description

This course will introduce selected Major and minor, old and new population groups in NYC. It will review their recent social heritage,main neighborhoods and centers in the city. It will study social-cultural residential and business populations and their contributions to the growth, development and currant dynamics of the metropolis. It will also explore major similarities , differences and issues between key NYC cultures. Each Student will select and research one culture area, group and issues.
