The course focuses on Latin American mainstream media as well as artistic and alternative forms of representation of gender and sexuality framing the analysis with the works of communication and cultural studies scholars, and feminist social theorists who have theorized the role of gender and sexuality along other social structures that shape identity and power in contemporary Latin America. This course is the same as GLLC 3151.
