Emphasis on looking at disability as a culture, disability as a multi-faceted concept through a culturally sustaining framework, bringing together a multitude of perspectives, methodologies and experiences. The disability rights movement, eugenics, issues related to inclusion such as disproportionality and linguistically diverse students; the value of universal design, System of Support, the idea of inclusion beyond placements and service delivery.
