Study of social, historical, cultic, and literary contexts of gender roles, the body, and sexuality in ancient Greco-Roman religions, ancient Judaisms, and early Christianities. Application of modern theory to ancient evidence. This course is the same as Women's and Gender Studies 3710 and CLAS 3238.
