This course provides an overview of diversity science, a scholarly discipline that considers conceptual, theoretical, and methodological approaches to critically addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion in psychological science. Topics will include how diversity is historically and contemporaneously conceptualized and examined across multiple sub-disciplines of psychology, and the role of diversity science in addressing societal inequities across education, health, and criminal legal systems. This course will also cover the role that diversity plays in individual and group processes
