Introduction to East European Jewish culture through Yiddish Judaic Studies 350 Programs and Courses of Instruction short stories in translation. Selected works by a variety of authors, including Shalom Aleichem, Isaac Leib Peretz, Shalom Asch, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Itzik Manger, Kadya Molodowsky, Esther Kreitman, and Miriam Ulinower, among others. (Not open to students who have completed JUST 2537.) This course is the same as Comparative Literature 3624.
