Catalog description

Develop an understanding of historical and contemporary health issues facing sexual minorities (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer). Topics include factors that contribute to negative health outcomes in LGBT populations related to mental health, HIV/STIs, substance use, smoking, certain types of cancer, and victimization. This course is the same as WGST 3608. Prerequisites:
