Close readings of ancient Greek biographical works, including, but not necessarily limited to, Diogenes Laertius and Plutarch. Study of the generic conventions of ancient biography. Students may take this course for credit twice but may not repeat the same texts. Qualifies as a LOTE (Language Other Than English) course for Pathways College Option purposes. Prerequisites: Greek 2019 or 3012 or permission of the chairperson
