Myths, legends, tales, proverbs, riddles, songs, dances, beliefs, rituals, celebrations, and folk art of American folk groups. English 240 Programs and Courses of Instruction Ethnic, regional, and occupational folklore. The relationship of oral folk culture to popular expression and written literature. Independent work in collecting folklore. This course is the same as American Studies 3402.
