Catalog description
A survey of important moments in Indigenous peoples’ history, including as it relates to the nation building of the United States of America. Focus on settler colonialism, Indigenous sovereignty, and Indigenous futurity. May combine critical anthropological theory, history, social media, and popular culture such as music, film, and literature to better situate and understand the myriad Indigenous tribal nations of North America in the present. This course is the same as ANTH 3510.
