Today’s healthcare environment places increased emphasis on the financial implications of both managerial and clinical decisions. This emphasis, in turn, has created a need for financial and analytical skills among clinicians and managers who in the past have not generally needed these skills. This course provides students with an introduction to healthcare finance, building on the foundation of earlier coursework in general accounting and finance.
