Catalog description

This course examines the major trends and genres in Spanish literature of the 20th and 21st centuries. Special attention is given to the formal conventions of each literary genre, and the relationship between literary texts and the ideological and political environments in which they were created. Among the authors are: Federico García Lorca, Rafael Alberti, Carmen Laforet, Merce Rodoreda, Luis Martin Santos, Antonio Muñoz Molina, Rosa Montero, Marta Sanz, Isaac Rosa.
